2021 Scholarship Recipients

As another way of preserving the legacies of the fallen—and supporting their family and coworker survivors—every year we award up to four $1,000 college scholarships. We give first priority to the descendants of fallen officers, secondly to the descendants of living officers, and thirdly to students intending to, or already pursuing enforcement-related degrees.

Congratulations to our 2021 College Scholarship recipients. We wish them good luck in their educational pursuits.

Morgan Hamby
Morgan Hamby is a graduate of Miami East High School—and both her mother and father are officers currently serving with the Dayton Police Department. Morgan intends to study Biomedical Engineering at either IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis) or Purdue University.

Taylor Mills
Taylor Mills is a graduate of Springboro High School—and her father is an officer with the Dayton Police Department. Taylor intends to study Biology/Pre-Medicine at either Wright State University or the University of Dayton.

Victoria Coss
Victoria Coss is a graduate of Brookville High School—and her father is an officer with the Sinclair Community College Police Department. Victoria intends to study Zoology at Miami University.

We strongly encourage any Montgomery County high school senior with family connections in the law enforcement community—and/or an interest in pursuing a law enforcement career—to apply for one of next year’s scholarships in late winter/early spring, 2022.
